Pickups for a Telecaster
Two different pickups: the bright, bitey bridge on its steel plate and the mellow, covered neck. They're separate slots and separate choices. The same slots as any guitar with Tele pickups.
Neck pickup
All 80 that fit, in the table →Vintage output
Lower output: open, dynamic, clean up well
Medium output
The middle of the range: for most styles
Hot
More output: drive the amp harder, more compression
Hum-free
Noiseless and stacked designs that don't hum
Each group shows the five with the most demos, reviews and player posts, two at most from one maker. The meter places each pickup among all pickups for this slot, low output on the left.
